This section of my page is devoted to all those weird voices and chants we hear in Pink Floyd music that we don’t understand. Here is a list of what people have figured out. Again, I give a lot of credit to the Echoes FAQ. If you know of one that’s not here and want it up, I’ll list it and credit you for the find.

Cut and thrust and I fell doon before him round his feet

A roar he cried

Frae the bottom of his heart that I would nay fall but as dead,

Right down at his feet. Aye!

These two were taken directly from the Echoes FAQ. Neither are exactly correct, but it sounds close enough. Send me your interpretation, if its close enough, I’ll post it.

Whats all the damn nonesense at the end of Fearless?

Its actually a football game recorded in Liverpool singing Garry And The Pacemakers "You’ll Never Walk". They are saying;

And you’ll never walk alone in the dark, alone

(Screaming)

LIVERPOOL!!! LIVERPOOL!!! Etc.

Before the beginning of Empty Spaces there is muddled words being spoken. Played backwards at the right speed it says;

"Congradulations, you have discovered the secret message. Please send your answer to Old Pink, care of the Funny Farm, Chalfront"
